How to cook Prawn Noodles Soup / Prawn Mee Soup / 虾面汤 (Step by Step)
Here is another one dish meal, a bowl of yummy XL Size Prawn Noodles Soup, which you could cook at home! Knowing how to make your own prawn broth/stock, you would be able to cook your own Prawn Noodles Soup or Fried Hokkien Mee at home.
Prawns have good nutritional benefits, with lots of vitamins B6, B12 and minerals and zinc. They help the body produce energy, build muscle, support nervous system and replenish red blood cells. we need for energy and to help support the nervous system. They contain some calcium and iron that aid in healthy blood formation and clotting. They also have a good source of selenium to support our immune system and reproduction as well as thyroid health.
However, prawns are high in cholesterol, especially in their heads. So, it is always better to eat seafood in moderation and not over indulge. Please do devein the prawns whenever possible as the black vein that runs along the prawn’s back, is the intestinal tract which could contains some sands in it. So, if you want to avoid eating sands, it is advisable to always devein the prawns. Moreover, those prawn intestines could cause high cholesterol as well.
